Globus has introduced Choice Excursions, a new option that allows travellers to customise their guided tour experiences on nearly 80 per cent of itineraries across Europe and North America.
The programme offers guests a selection of included excursions each day, giving them the option to pick activities such as food tours, bike rides, cultural experiences, or scenic cruises. Sample options include a Douro River cruise or a tasting at Sandeman Cellars in Porto, an aperitivo stroll in Florence or a Taste of Tuscany food tour, a Golden Gate bike ride or a Little Italy tasting tour in San Francisco, and Unicum tasting in Budapest or a thermal spa soak at Széchenyi Baths.
“Globus Choice Excursions are a bold new chapter in guided travel,” said Chris Hall, managing director Asia Pacific, Globus family of brands. “Research is pointing to flexibility to choose from included excursions as a major driver for the next generation of tour travellers. By giving guests more freedom and personalisation than ever – we’re inviting more travellers to discover the benefits of touring – from ease and VIP access to unforgettable moments at every turn.”
Globus also provides multiple touring styles to suit different preferences, including Classic tours, Small Group Discovery, Independent City Stay, and Undiscovered itineraries. “With Globus, travellers can choose their experience – without the stress of planning,” Hall added. “It’s guided travel that flexes around our guests.”
