I’m standing at the top of a seven storey zip-line tower in the Cambodian jungle looking over the treetops. Down in the valley more than 400m away, I can barely make out my destination and it’s fair to say I’m a little hesitant as I lean back in my harness and begin the thrilling ride over and through the treetops. The zip-line is Cambodia’s longest but it is only stage one. From the arrival tower I transfer to a shorter line that takes me across the Tmor Rung River and directly into the Landing Zone Bar of the Shinta Mani Wild Resort.
“Welcome to Shinta Mani Wild”, says a waiter as he presents me with a refreshing mocktail. “Shall I put tequila in that?”
