Interior Design Masters: Where is the Welsh glamping retreat…
Interior Design Masters is heading to Wales this week as the remaining contestants take on a new challenge at a glampsite. It will see the designers fly solo as they are given the chance to demonstrate their individual abilities.
The BBC show, which is hosted by Alan Carr, follows aspiring designers as they go head-to-head to impress head judge and former editor of Elle Decoration, Michelle Ogundehin, with the hopes of getting their big break in the world of commercial interior design.
Each week there is a new challenge, with tasks ranging from show homes, shops and restaurants to beach huts, bars and luxury holiday villas. Episode five will see the conetstants head to Wales as they transform shepherd huts.

But where is the glamping retreat featured in BBC’s Interior Design Masters? Here’s everything you need to know.
Where is the Welsh glamping retreat?
Called Brook Cottage Shepherd Huts, the newly-opened glamping retreat is located on the glorious Llŷn Peninsula near the border of Snowdonia National Park. The huts offer a quiet rural retreat in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with uninterrupted far-reaching views to Yr Eifl (The Rivals) mountains.
The retreat offers luxury boutique glamping for adults only and the five traditional shepherd style huts have been lovingly hand-crafted by co-owners Mark Barrow and Jonathan Gooders, both of whom have a background in fine art.
“It was a great opportunity”, commented Mark Barrow. “We have five huts and they were down to five designers by episode 5, so they each got a hut.”
