Aligning with its Thailand-based parent company, Diageo Moët Hennessey Thailand (DMHT)’s commitment to delivering premium experiences, The Singleton recently hosted the grand unveiling of ‘My Singleton Style by The Singleton,’ a new lifestyle concept for the brand that goes beyond the just a new label or packaging by putting focus on experiences that can be complemented by whisky drinking.
One such activity is that of ‘glamping,’ which was the overarching theme of the event. At the centre of attention were the new ‘Faces of The Singleton’ – representatives of the Thailand’s stylish new generation, which included Sean Jindachote, Name Prakarn Raiva, and Win Phawat Sirithiraphakkul. During a sit-down conversation, the influential figures shared their experiences about how they balance work and leisure before immersing themselves in several glamping-style activities.
This began with a lesson on how to craft the special ‘The Singleton Orchard’ cocktail by Sean Jindachote and Earth Phapun Boonraksatrakul, the winner of Diageo World Class Thailand 2023. Then, attendees savoured barbecue delights cooked to perfection by Win Phawat Sirithiraphakul that were paired with a specially seasoned sauce infused with The Singleton.
Next, Name Prakarn Raiva serenaded guests before DJ Rabbit Disco and live percussionist took over for the rest of the evening. Throughout sunset hour, guests were encouraged to relish the full-flavoured goodness of The Singleton, a single malt whisky renowned for its fruity notes harmoniously blended with hints of vanilla, spices, oak, and nuts, over more delicious food.
The Singleton boasts a sophisticated portfolio of single malt whiskies, each aged for varying periods, including 12, 15, and 18 years. These variants have earned numerous gold medals at prestigious global competitions like The International Spirits Challenge 2022 and The San Francisco World Spirits Competition 2022, which is further testament to the fact that The Singleton whiskies can accompany many different lifestyle activities, from relaxed evenings with loved ones to upscale soirées.
In collaboration with the Faces of The Singleton and esteemed partners, the brand also put together a list of activities and products under the ‘My Singleton Style’ concept that can be enjoyed beyond the walls of the event, including the introduction of the world’s first ‘The Singleton Foldable Bar’ set.
Other highlights included influencer-driven glamping content featuring prominent figures like Puri Hiranprueck from the Viewfinder Thailand programme, and other outdoor experiences at select hotels, resorts, and music festivals in Khao Yai and Chiang Mai from October to December 2023 that promise luxurious adventures as the rainy season transitions into the much-anticipated ‘winter’ months.
