‘wow bubble’ is a glamping brand created by pl interior design studio, aiming to encourage people living in the city to step into nature. even when users stay inside the bubble, they still have the full exterior view due to the transparent PVC material that shapes the room.
bubbles sit on the platform, inviting urban people to step into nature
glamping is a new term combined the two words – glamorous and camping. while more and more people move to the city and choose urban life, they also distance themselves from the nature and lose the peace. overtime, nature becomes a luxury and people are willing to pay more money just to get as close as possible to nature. this zen bubble not only brings nature into the interior, but pulls people from around the world to see the glamorous view of asia.

a double bed with a credenza, plus the mountains and trees, that’s all we need for a good night’s sleep
‘zen is a lifestyle that everyone needs today, especially when the whole world is telling you the more the better, but we actually felt happier when we own less,’ says chenwei chiang, designer of the bubble.

the product is not the first of its kind in the world. however, in order to adapt to the humid weather in asian countries, especially in coastal areas, the concept needed an upgrade. the result uses a kind of PVC that is not too thin to break nor too thick or heavy to be inflated. in addition, after consulting numerous experts, chienhsin lu, head of wow bubble, has also developed a ventilation system to keep the air flowing when the bubble is inflated.
